Panhellenic Association
At Indiana University
From January 2024 to January 2025 I served as the Vice President of Communications for the Panhellenic Association at Indiana University.
Home to 22 panhellenic chapters, Indiana University has the largest panhellenic involvement across the nation. I was able to sit on the executive board overseeing all things communications, but what really does that entail? Well, i’d be more than happy to show you!
social
media:
With over 9 thousand followers, instagram was by far the biggest communication platform within our community. I saw a huge opportunity for our social media when I began my role, specifically on instagram. I knew that potential new members would refer to the instagram to get a feel for the whole “panhellenic” thing, and I made it my mission to showcase our community and the strength of our sisterhood through our posts. From the photos being selected, to the caption of the post, everything was strategically curated to emphasize the panhellenic bond.
Website
Design:
A goal of mine while I was in office was to give the website a re-vamp. In so I started off by establishing key colors for the website, choosing a readable font, and lastly creating design elements for the website in adobe illustrator. I was sick an tired of the stereotypical sorority website which include far too many useless pictures of sisters in the community hugging. I wanted to design a website that didn’t need pictures to show personality, but rather let the website do the talking for itself.
Logo
Creation:
With the help from my director of social media, Ava Reibly, I oversaw and provided feedback to her creation of the 2024 panhellenic association at Indiana University logo.
